Jonas Salk Elementary School, San Diego 2015

Named after Dr. Jonas Salk who invented the Polio vaccine and founded the Salk Institute of Biological Studies, this school was envisioned to be a place young people could start their academic journey with a focus on the sciences. The outdoor courtyard gives the children a place to gather while being surrounded by basic scientific elements.
