San Diego Zoo 2010

Nine acres of elephants, sloths, tapirs, rattlesnakes, condors, camels, turtles, lions, jaguars and secretary birds recall species once indigenous to Southern California and include remnant California native plants as well. This makes The Elephant Odyssey one of the most ambitious at the San Diego Zoo. NLA led the site planning effort to carve the most area possible form the narrow mesa site.
